Manuka Smoked Chilli Salted Avocado and Tomato Toast

Our favourite go-to breakfast options that's packed with flavour - Manuka Smoked Chilli Salted Avocado and Tomato Toast. Yum!

INGREDIENTS:
1 ripe avocado
1 medium tomato, sliced
Fresh bread (sourdough, whole grain, or multigrain)
Manuka Smoked Chilli Salt
Black Pepper
Optional toppings: sliced radishes, microgreens, or a drizzle of balsamic glaze

METHOD:

  1. Prepare the Avocado and Tomato: Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a small bowl. Use a fork to mash the avocado until smooth or to your desired consistency. Season with a pinch of Manuka Smoked Chilli Salt and black pepper to taste and set aside. Wash the tomato and slice it thinly, and set aside.

  2. Assemble the Toast: Once the bread is toasted, spread a generous amount of the seasoned mashed avocado onto each slice. Arrange the sliced tomatoes on top of the avocado.

  3. Season with Manuka Smoked Chilli Salt: Sprinkle a pinch of Manuka Smoked Chilli Salt over the tomatoes for a smoky, spicy kick.

  4. Optional Toppings: Add additional toppings such as sliced radishes or microgreens for extra flavor and texture. You can also drizzle a bit of balsamic glaze over the toast for a touch of sweetness.

  5. Serve: Serve while the bread is still warm and crispy.
